I am having a great time as a Service Driver and even though I am not selling I get to see all the cool stuff coming in and Porsche Des Moines just acquired a low mileage Black Edition 911 and yesterday a 2023 Red GT4RS with the Weisach landed -- less than 3000 miles. I will post some pics later today ...............momma told me that I could not trade in my 2024 Cayman GTS because semi retirement means I can sample the wares in the " Candy Store " but don't even think of bringing home a box of goodies, ha!

......and now, as promised, the 2800 mile 2023 GT4RS ( CPO'd)!

Having just moved to Iowa all the new bills, taxes, registrations, etc. are loading me down and I am drooling at the thought of the red racer, but alas ....................
I also promised momma a new bedroom and dining room sets since we parted with our old ones when we moved. I think it is reasonable to sleep and eat on the floor to get an RS, but she thinks I am nuts. Pretty sure I will lose this one, ha!

Sometimes priorities take the front seat. This will just give you more time to assess the market and see what you really want.

Any tracks new you now?

No track really close but more to run that are 3.5 to 5 hours away. Got a nail in one of my Bridgerocks so only going to the Great Plains PCA track event in early October on a set of used Pee-relli slicks.

Two weeks ago I had a leaky TPMS sensor at the track. Luckily this track has a tire shop and they were able to fix it. They had to dismount the tire, replace the sealing washers around the sensor and remount and balance the tire. Luckily the timing all worked out and I did not even miss a session.

Less than a week later I had a screw in my tire. I brought it to my tire store and they installed a plug. So I have had my share of flats for the next quarter I hope!

Today is the " Grand Opening " at Porsche Des Moines and I am looking forward to the extra activities this evening as I got messages from two of my old friends I sold Vipers to that they are coming to check out the Store. Fun to see old friends who I haven't seen for years as well as finding out they both have Porsches!

My apologies to the two individuals who sent me PMs on the GT4RS, I was out of town delivering loaners to service customers and did not know it already sold earlier Friday. The Grand Opening was insane with close to 250 folks attending and I will post a few of the cool machines that were showcased.
