Hi guys, this is mostly to put it on the record when someone else comes around with the same problem.

My GT4 was clunking on speed bumps, pot holes, and especially anytime the bump hit one wheel before the other. I checked all connections and could not determine a cause so I submitted to making a dealer visit (not my favorite thing in the world). In the end all I was told was a removal of the rear sway bar and reinstallation resulted in no more clunking. I think that's odd, but it made a huge difference.

Of course I chronicled the visit on my YouTube channel - your views and likes are appreciated!

Very glad you got it fixed. Fremont Porsche is the best auto service department I've ever dealt with, thanks to Gunter and Cory. Your test driver in that video is Cory, who is super talented and super nice. I laughed when he said in that video about what would happen if that sound only happened in your own driveway. That literally happened to me with my '18 911 -- not my driveway only per se, but only on the bumpy back roads near my house. So what did he do? He came to my house on the weekend and figured it out. Probably shouldn't say that here, so would point out there were extenuating circumstances and I'm sure he can't do that for every rattle, but still.... Pretty amazing in a "could-not-replicate-customer-complaint" world. Rumor has it he lurks here on Carpokes too. ;)

Wait, does the 718 GT4 not have the Sports Chrono gauge on the dash???

It's an option...I think $500. I didn't get it trying to budget. But on the GT4 there's literally no advantage to having it unless you want to use the track side timing gear. The Track Precision App requires Navigation, that's all. (Or hack it like I did).

I will admit I have some regret not having it, but oh well
