Splash Page says, “There’s an app for that.”
Searching the Apple App Store…I can’t find it.
Please don’t say it’s only for Android.

I'm doing a little video showing how to set it up. Stay tuned. It's a "progressive web app" so there is no need to download anything. On the iPhone, just go into Safari and pull up Carpokes.com. You'll see that even in Safari, we have an all-new and steam-lined Mobile interface that hopefully makes it easier to use on small screens. To turn it into an app, look at the bottom middle of the screen and press the box with up arrow. Scroll down a little and click on 'add to home page'. After doing that, you will have an app icon on your phone for Carpokes -- it behaves like any other app, so you can move it around your home screen, etc. I pin mine to the 'dock' at the bottom so it's always easy to find. The process on an Android is essentially the same, but I'll try to do a video for the Android too.

The key difference, in addition to having the icon on your home screen for easy access, is that you can then enable push notifications on your phone. That's done by tapping on Notifications at the bottom of the screen (when in the app and logged in) and then tapping "enable push notifications." You can then go to User Control Panel>Board Preferences>Edit Notification Options and then scroll down to decide what events should trigger notifications. You can get notices for just one or two important events, or for everything you want -- totally up to you.

With push notifications enabled, you'll get real-time alerts on your phone based on your Notification settings. You don't need to be in the app to get the notifications. You don't need to even use the app to access carpokes if you don't want to, but you need the app installed in order to turn on and use the push notifications.

Also worth noting that notifications are device specific. So if you enable them on your desktop, you'll get notifications on your desktop. If you also want them on your laptop or phone or work computer or whatever, you need to separately enable them on those devices.

Here's the post I did last week on setting up notifications on a desktop.
