Hello everyone, I’ve been dealing with a loose steering column for some time and finally decided to take a look at it. I’ve discovered that the bolt that clamps the steering lock housing (part 1) is missing. The PET doesn’t even show a bolt on the diagram, and I was wondering what size bolt to use to clamp it down. Thanks!

The part you need is N 014 707 4 pan-head screw M8 x 16.

An allen head bolt, thread size M8 x 1.25, the length of the thread is 16 mm long.

It is part number 26 in illustration 403-05 in the 1982-1985 944 PET.
