If you'd like to add a splash of color to your interior, here is the 992 Mode Selector Dial cover file. It needs to be printed on a high resolution resin printer to get the knurling and other features. Dimensional accuracy is a must. Honestly, for a hands-on car person, a 3D-printer is an amazingly useful thing to have. My wife got me a Velleman K8200 DIY printer kit over a decade ago, and I've been hooked ever since. I currently have a Lulzbot Taz 6 (with mods) FDM printer and a Formlabs Form 3 SLA printer. Both are great printers of their type. Can't tell you how many things I've made for cars, and just around the house, over the years. Drill jigs, brackets, bezels, tools and tool holders, cupholders, household items, you name it. One of our garbage cans has a 3D printed wheel!

The Form 3 is an SLA printer that uses photosensitive resin to build its prints one layer at a time, but the layers and X-Y resolutions are super small -- down to 1/40th of mm per layer -- which is how it can print things like these bezels and covers with such fine detail. Notice the 'knurling' on the dial knob for example. That dial cover is .8mm thick, and the knurling is less than half of that.

With seriously good printers available for a few hundred dollars, all shade-tree mechanics should have one.
