Hey guys , I have been shopping for bidirectional scanners and I think the Foxwell 710 will cover my needs . Found a vendor on ebay that will sell it for $215.00 . On Ali Express it is $140.00 . Both offer free shipping and both charge sales tax .

Both sites are saying these are 2025 models with free lifetime updates . Both are " single model " specific free software so I would download the Porsche software . Other models of car software can be loaded for a fee .

Any of you guys using the Foxwell 710 ? Any issues or concerns ? And thoughts on where to purchase ? I don't need PIWIS power , I have the enthusiest Durametric and don't like the bulk of a laptop . Any advice appreciated .

No experience with that one, but have never had problems buying off Ali Express other than very long shipping times. iCarSoft was the most popular for a long time, but it seems like everyone is selling their own scanner/reset tool now, even Harbor Freight of all places. The cheapest one I've seen, confirmed to work on a recent Porsche is this one:
