Greetings!
I have an allocation for a 4.0 boxster. Supposed to be at my dealer on 4/29. Super stoked. Have a bunch of parts in the shop ready to turn it into a track car. Sold my 981 a couple months ago and ready to be back in business!!

Welcome to Carpokes! Congratulations on the new car. I have a CGTS 4.0 and love it. I hope to see a lot of photos. What have you purchased for the car so far?
Thanks
Larry

O boy are you ready for the list?
No car yet, but I sure do have parts;
19” apex SM10 track wheels
265/295 Azenis 660 tires to get back warmed up for the track. I’ve been out of pocket for a few months.
DSC controller
Competition Motorsports harness bar
Harnesses for both seats
Radiator and engine inlet screens
SPL adjustable front lower control arms
Rear toe links
Soul race exhaust
4 Girodisc 350MM rotors
Pagid yellow brake pads all 4 corners
Steel braided brake lines I got from suncoast. Can’t remember the brand.
I just ordered a really cool license plate holder
That’s what I have so far. I will have my work cut out for me during the break in period. I am looking into quotes for window tint and PPF now.

I have not used a DSC controller. The other option was coil overs, but those require regular maintenance and need to be removed and sent back to manufacturer to have that done properly. That’s not something I wanted to have to deal with. The DSC controller I am hoping will do something similar without the headache of removing, shipping and reinstalling while the car is out of commission.JP4931 wrote: Sun Jan 30, 2022 4:57 pm Welcome to Carpokes! I am looking forward to following your build. Have you used a DSC Controller before? I had thought about getting one for my GTS 4.0 but have read mixed reviews.
The car will be mostly track car, so I am used to a harsh ride with the way it will be set up. I can live with that because it is not my DD. In fact I don’t even drive it to the tracks because they are quite a distance away from me. The only thing I care about are lap times and I think the DSC controller will help me lower those.
