Hi all,

2 months ago I bought my first porsche: a '82 944. I've always loved 944's as a kid and now decided to finally buy one for myself. She's in decent condition, my goal is to take it to excellent condition over the course of some years so I can do some longer roadtrips with the kids once they're older.

First order of business is sorting out some oil leaks and take it from there.

Browsed the forum a bit, great to see how much knowlegde is gathered here. Great resource and nice vibe.

regards,

Eelco

Eelco, WELCOME to CARPOKES. Glad to see another 944 member. I'd suggest looking through the 944 posts as there are several first timers there as well and several posters with running threads revitalizing cars back to good health. Be sure to check all the Transaxle postings as there is a lot of cross referencing there, and the 928 has some useful information as well. If this is your first 944, I'd suggest checking out https://www.clarks-garage.com/ its a 944 focused website that is still supported even though its originator has passed but his site is a good source for how to directions for those just starting in the 944 world.
Thank you for joining!
