I think the whole VAG organization is in a fair amount of trouble these days and this is reflected in the stock price.

We need to realize, though, this is an across the board situation with almost all foreign made vehicles. With the zillion of Chinese Auto Manufacturers and their lack of government interference, tariffs, etc. even Ford, GM, Mercedes, etc. are all down . This is part of the reasoning for a revised look in Europe concerning the Importation and tariff structure on Chinese vehicles. We already know the US is going to view the incoming Chinese vehicles imported into America with intense scrutiny as the Chinese already have imposed major restrictions on every Manufacturer not home based.

Lol.

Regarding Porsche (who has somewhat taken North America for granted the past several years), word I got from higher up the dealership chain was that Porsche is going to start emphasizing us a bit more once again, kind of an obvious move since their former best pal (Chinaville) is gently kicking Porsche to the curb. I guess the Chinese have stolen all the intellectual, engineering and design cues they need to now incorporate same into their own home-grown vehicle industry.

On the down side from the pivot back to NA , said talk from Porsche to dealers was also that they are going to limit 911 manufacturing even more in a bid to make the model more "exclusive" and, by extension, even more expensive than it's already become.
