Hey, welcome!
Everyone will have their own opinion on this, and honestly in the end it comes down to whatever you feel comfortable with. I have had the pleasure of buying quite a few cars over the last couple of years, and every single one presented the same age old question...
Should I PPF just the front, or the whole thing? ha.
From my experience and in my own opinion, you only need to PPF forward facing impact zones, and perhaps a couple little pieces here and there that get a lot of finger traffic.
For example: My recent purchase, 2024 718 Cayman. I got the classic track pack, which is all forward facing surfaces. See below.

However, I also got them to PPF the rear trunk hatch because to close the trunk you have to touch it, so I don't want my rough fingers pressing down on nice paint everytime I want to close it. So, paid a couple extra bucks, and they did this whole piece, just for peace of mind.

I find that is more than enough... I used to think I should just do the whole thing, perhaps someone in a parking lot opens their door and dings mine... Well, PPF will not help with that. In fact, it will make it worse since most little dings can be repaired by "Paintless Dent Removal" experts, and they will need to sometimes take off the PPF.
However, if money is no issue, and if having your whole car PPF'ed will make you enjoy it more, then go nuts and wrap that thing!

On one of my more expensive cars, I wrapped every single visible surface, and it sure makes me enjoy it more.
Hope that helps!
EDIT: I also PPF'ed my custom made carbon inner door sill as well as out the outer carbon door sill.
