I'm looking for parts 24 and 17 in this diagram for my 1983 944. They're nothing special so I'm hoping someone can tell me the specifics and I can just pick them up at Home Depot instead of ordering them from Porsche. I think the shroud has 3 along the top and 3 along the bottom, all of mine are missing.

Only #24 is needed, most of the info about the fastener is in the description. It is an M6.3 (diameter) and is 12mm long with a captured washer. It is a special fastener, and it is unlikely that HD will have anything similar to this (or any other parts of a Porsche).
Belmetric has them in 16mm length (same as the fasteners used to secure the fenders) but they must be shortened before installation or damage to the radiator is possible.

$2 each at Pelican, with trapped washer, although if you shop around I'm sure you could find them cheaper.

Don't quote me, but I believe the pitch is 1.81, so if you were in a hurry you could get a longer M6.3 x 1.81 bolt from Amazon and cut it to 12mm. The national auto parts stores all seem to carry a few as well, also too long, sold as fender screws, license plate screws, etc., though they charge way too much for them...

Thanks, if they're special then I'll order them from Porsche locally. Ordering online will be $50 for shipping.

Just in case people were curious, it was still cheaper at the dealer, even with these prices:
radiator bolts = $3.xx each
pin/bolt that holds strut to hood = $18
little clip that goes on that pin to hold it in = $14

Wow, what a rip. As I'm going through the repairs, I'm making note of pieces that aren't genuine and just replacing them.

I got lucky and found these at an independent hardware store this past summer. Home Depot , Lowes etc wont have these.
