can you send destination to car from Porsche app?

Android on Pixel. I cannot use the Porsche app on my phone to send a destination address/location to my 2024 base Cayman. I messaged Porsche HQ to ask how to get the app to do this. They said it appears my PCM is not fully connected with the nav services at MyPorsche. They instruct me to delete the pairing code and user under Porsche Connect, then re-pair. I got the pairing code from the dealer. But the dealer says the app on a 718 does not allow/permit sending of destination to car from phone.
1. I have not yet done the delete and re-pairing.
2. Porsche HQ says the app should send destinations to the car.
3. Several people at dealer -- including the tech staff -- say the app does not/will not send destination to the car -- and that function is reserved for other model Porsches, excluding the 718.
My questions for the Carpoke braintrust are:
1. Are you able to use the Android version of the Porsche app to send destinations to your 718?
2. If yes, how did you configure the app and car to make this work?
3. If not, is this because Porsche blocks something in the app or in the car?
