Traveling on an old country road in rural Alabama and came across this one. It’s probabky early 70’s but I’m sure some of you know better than me. Also it has a whale tale but I’m not sure if it’s a turbo. It looks like it’s been sitting there for quite a while.

Oh my. Long nose 911/912 --that car could be worth serious money!

^^^ Agree a long hood with Fuchs wheels is worth some coin . That tail needs to go and be replaced with a period correct ducktail . Sugar scoop headlight rings should have proper H4 rings . If not a rust bucket that would be a fun project .

Sad to see it in that condition.
Hope it gets restored!

Epes. I have no idea if it is for sale or if the owner will sell it. If you find out, I’d love to know.

I’m an hour and a half from there. Any other clues to location?

Smartphone pics (assuming) will be geotagged so the exact location can be provided to those interested in finding this car.

The town only has like 200 residents. It’s at a towing company that I believe was called Boligee. I think it was on Main Street.

Air still in the tires, windows up, small but good signs even considering the rest of the condition. Impressed by 996C438's knowledge, the boy knows his Porsches down to the smallest details!
