Have a 2014 911S. When restarting the car after the engine is already hot, the "Check High Brake Light" warning light will frequently turn on, especially when the ambient temperature is high. After driving it again for awhile, especially after the rear wing raises, the warning light will turn off again. Sounds like an overheating issue but what can I do to keep this from happening?

Maybe there is room for a heat sink of some sort? Some LED headlights use a ribbon-style heat sink that can be loosely stuffed into the nacelle. It may not take much to make the light comfortable, and it's easier than active cooling.

It’s a break in the wiring harness going to light on the LH side where the loom wraps around the hinge point. Ask me how I know as I was charge same issue. Frequently asked on Rennlist. You can’t see the break until you cut away the outer sheath of the harness. Mine were broke and just rubbing together enough to come on, go off, etc. I opened up the sheath and there it was, both wires broken. Spliced in about 3” of extra wire and pulled the excess up on the lid attachment points. Never another issue. Some purists say replace the whole harness, but why, when it can easily be fixed.
Good Luck
