The fest was a blast! This is my first time in the advanced group. The car stayed together, very happy.

Looks like there were agricultural activities as well! A lot has happened over the past 50+ years there but its good to see it still survives and hasn't been turned into a housing development al la Riverside.
Hopefully the mosquitos weren't too bad. They used to be capable of carrying off small dogs in the past.

Yes, rally cross was a lot of fun to watch. They have been a lot of improvements to the track in the last bunch of years, looking pretty good…and the mosquitoes are a lot less annoying!

Here is one of mine from the on track photographer. Really enjoyed my first time on a track.

It was great seeing everyone again this year. It was a really good fest this year. It is always a pleasure to put faces with names. If you have never made it before I highly suggest you experience 944fest at least once.

Just meeting all of the people in the 944 community is a experience in itself. Then you add in track time, special events, and great food and it becomes a memorable weekend faster than you can swap your DME relay.

I saw many great builds this year. The attention to detail some of the builds had were truly impressive. I hope to meet even more people out there next year and I cannot wait to see what everyone does to there 944's.

Sounds like a great opportunity to get a 944 out on a track. What are the rules (e.g. point-by to pass)?
