Pozidriv screws in the 944

Last week I was trying to adjust my throttle positons sensor and as per usual the screws seemed stripped and I went through like 10+ bits trying to find one that would fit and low and behold I found what I later researched is a pozidrive bit that fit perfectly and snug and I was able to loosen the screws without causing any damage to the screws. I also believe the screws on the headlight ring are pozidriv as well. Everyone has always claimed that the screws are stripped and I just am under the opinion they were using the wrong bit. I checked the screws and thought I saw the marks to indicate them as pozidrive as well. I checked the factory service manual and owners manual and it makes no mention in them. Just thought I would spread the knowledge since I couldn't find it anywhere online.

I have a love/hate relationship with Pozidriv fittings. They really are an improved version of Phillips, and when you use the proper tool they are much harder to strip out. But car makers seem to use them randomly, you never know where or when you will find them. I don't know how long they have been around, but I did find them in some areas of the '74 Capri I recently finished restoring.
