OBD lock?

There's been a rash of auto thefts here in Toronto in recent time. And while Porsche brand cars don't seem to be as targeted as the Lexus 350, the Honda CRV, the Ford F150s....I'm still concerned.
Has anybody tried any of the OBD solutions?
I found this one that seems to be good:

Faraday boxes for keys, immobilizers, the CLUB...wondering what other methods people have to ensure our cars don't get stolen?

From what I've heard, the biggest risk (at least in my neck of the woods) are those repeater things that pick up key signals sitting inside the house -- so I'd vote for a faraday box for sure. I've also used "The Club" for years on an older non-computer car -- very low-tech but it works as intended.

I'd also consider a GPS tracker thingie (ala lo-jack, but I think they are gone). That USB lock is a solution to a problem I didn't know existed. Can't hurt, but I wonder how common it is for thieves to steal Porsches that way?? Common?

FWIW, I keep all my keys in a Faraday box. I also find this helps minimize the battery loss. I've come to learn over the years that the drawer I used to keep my keys in was close enough to the car to be in frequent communication with the cars proximity sensors thereby wearing down the batteries in the key FOB quickly.
They are pretty cheap, work well, and u can get them covered in CF so they look cool too

I got a faraday box to try out.
And yeah—LoJack went out of business in Canada and is limited in coverage in USA.

Poking around the interweb a bit, I see dozens of GPS trackers, many without monthly subscriptions, and most a fraction of the price of the old LoJack. I imagine the technology just caught up with them, and they went the way of cameras and calculators and alarm clocks and navigation systems and mp3 players and....
