I've seen Rose Passion many times while searching for Porsche parts. They often have better pictures and details than most, but I've never ordered from them because they are in Europe (France I think). This week I was looking for some oddball wire harness clips and no one seemed to have them, apparently NLA. Rose Passion was the only one who seemed to have them, so I figured I'd order and wait it out. To my surprise, I ordered late Tuesday night (in California), and the clips arrived Friday afternoon -- less than 72 hours after ordering -- and it indeed came from France. Not bad at all, and the shipping charge was not much more than most US retailers. I'd order again with much less hesitation for sure....

Well, I'd never even heard of the company, so that's a cool bit of info and experience Tom even if I won't ever need anything from them. At least I now know they exist!

Rose Passion is/was the euro arm of Automotion. Joined at the hip.

They have gone bigger and bigger since I first ordered parts from them in 2000...

I've not been paying enough attention over the last decade or so. Automotion in the past was a good US source for parts and accessories. They carried a pretty good set of 'sport' springs for the 928. Still somewhat treasured for track/HPDE use, as the later options were progressive-rate coils from Eibach. Anyway, it looks like a few 'brands' have found there way completely under the Rose Passion umbrella. Good that they are able to offer such good service even out to the colonies.

I did notice the Automotion logo on their site, but wasn't sure of the connection. Automotion helped get me into Porsches.
Their main store was in Sunnyvale, a couple miles from my home at the time, and was a mecca for Porsche fans. Glass counters with shiny parts inside like a jewelry store, regular car shows and swap meets that drew hundreds of people, and a staff that really knew and loved these cars. Their catalog was also best in class in the pre-internet days. Thick glossy pages with pictures of just about everything -- put the Montgomery Wards catalog to shame. It was a super helpful resource back in the days when google was just a misspelling for goggle. I stared at the performance chip page for hours, fascinated at the thought of 70hp on a silicon chip....

Automotion that close to my home would have caused SERIOUS damage to my bank account! It would have been too easy to visit just to look, only to walk out with something new and shiny convincing myself of saving time by not needing to return when the actual need MIGHT have risen.

Rosepassion is probably my number 1 go-to store for my parts. They have fast shipping options, but unfortunately shipping is always paid; No freebies to be found!
If the manager buys a new car, it's probably because of me!
