"El Cheap" Cup/Phone Holder

After a brief search, I found a cheap (and elegant) cup/phone holder that, with some minor modification, installed in my 718. best part, it’s under 10 bucks and installs without being permanent nor needing any alteration to the cars interior

The 1st modification, removing the angled lip on the attaching tongue, makes it easier to slide blend the lower trim on the passenger side of the center console. The 2nd (optional) mod, using a a Drexel sanding drum, was hogging out the phone holder to accommodate my Otterbox’d iPhone - not necessary if your phone doesn’t have a thick cover,

Using a plastic pry tool, widen the slot between the console and lower trim to slide the holder into position allowing enough forward space to open the glove box. Then tuck the cable from the center console between the trim to the holder.

Easy peasy and cheap.
