For those of you (likely almost all of you) that aren’t familiar with the “wonderful” life my 86 951 has had over the last 3 years, it’s finally to a point that I would call done…. For now. I bought the car non running with a Lindsey racing super 75 kit on it and had to fix a broken timing belt and bent valves. Three days later and maybe ~30 miles, the aftermarket ignition coil shorted out and cause a fire. Undeterred I decided to finally build my dream car and Ls swap it, that turned out to be much more than I thought it would be, after one Ls lost oil pressure after ~700 miles I bought a running junkyard engine and did the basics, heads, cam, intake, oil pump, and so on. The car still never looked that good with its mismatched panels and, in my opinion, awful burgundy interior. Finally after 3 years it’s painted and has a black interior. I’m proud to say I have done 100% of the work myself including learning how to weld and paint (with some amount of success) all at home in my garage.
I’m relatively new to this forum and recently got a 3d printer so I’m very excited to see what 944 goodies I can use it for.

That’s some strong work ethic there!
Looks great, really like the color.
Congratulations.

There’s a couple kits out there, I used the renegade hybrids kit. It can be done fairly easily but I did a lot of custom wiring, painting, and sanding
