... and once again we have rattles in our beloved sportscars!

The support bar for the Targa Roof rattles when there is no weight on it when the roof is closed. The support bar is engineered with "play" in the bar itself, which would appear to be where the rattle comes from.

I have NOT tried to lube with Krytos as I suspect it is more likely a felt cushioning issues (it is a rattle vs. a squeak) however, I have not been able to determine how to disassemble the bar to add felt cushioning.

Any suggestion on how to eliminate a rattle like this, and/or how to disassemble the bar so I can attempt to add felt cushioning would be appreciated.

I had same problem with my Targa 4S recently. To remove the support bar, there is a poorly designed push button on the underside of the bar on the driver's side. I was afraid to push it too hard but did and it releases a latch on the opposite side holding the bar in place. Instead of felt, I used the soft side of adhesive velcro and it seems to work just fine. Hope this helps.
