I really wish the Porsche Owner's Manual was as self-explanatory as the Pilot Operating Handbooks I used. I looked at my Porsche Owner's Manual as well as the "Porsche Good To Know" App where the following pic was taken from.
I am trying to figure out how to set the G-Force to show a Maximum reading. I know I have done it before in my 2015 911 GTS. Where exactly is that G-Force max sub-menu?

Hey, I asked about this a while back, I will paste some info below. This was in regards to a 718 Cayman, but same steps I am sure. It's a feature with the Sports Chrono package...
If you don't have Sports Chrono
-Turn on Ignition
-PCM button Car
Using the touchscreen:
Trip
swipe to Personal Trip
select Config (appears when close to screen)
select data field
select information to display
Repeat last 2 steps until done
When all completed, hit the "back" button to display Personal Trip screen.
If you do have Sports Chrono... I BELEIVE this is the correct way
Using the right hand side scroll wheel, navigate to the info screen. The one that shows temps etc. Click the scroll wheel to get to the menu. Go to settings>display>menu scope. From there you can select what screens will show when you scroll through the display. G-Force is one of them. When you are on the G-Force screen you can click to show the max readings and also reset.

I've never fooled with that on the 992 - I also need to see how it functions in that regard.

OK guys, I think I screwed up.
On my MFD, using the right stalk (and moving it either up of down), I can scroll through the items I chose to display in my MFD.
One of them is the G-Force. When that is shown, I can scroll up and down to my other items as expected.
If I press forward (or back?) on the stalk, G-Force Maximum is shown with a Reset on the bottom of the display. I was under the impression while on that display, I can scroll up and down to my other screens. Nope, and I thought that that G-Force Maximum was not selected (or set as default) because I could not get to my other MFD screens. As the Owners Manual stated...it is a "sub-menu".
Time to crack open a new bottle of Drambuie. Where is that "bang head" icon?

Just checked the GT4. I'm cheating vs street readings as mine reflects the max reading after several diff recent tracks - not sure which one the max came from as I always forget to check and reset. I don't have the acceleration but the car does know how to stop and how to turn.

That's seriously impressive Tim! I remember when the Corvette first cracked 1 g on the skidpad. My how far we've come... I have to admit, my inner teenager can't help but see these posts as a challenge...
