I noticed recently that Shark Blue has been removed from the configurator for most (all?) of the 911 models.
Interestingly, the default picture for the GT3 model is Shark Blue, but when you go to configure that model, that option isn't selectable.
I'm assuming this is due to the soon to be announced 992.2 model change over? Seems odd that just this one color has been singled out across the range.
I also note that Carmine Red seems to have disappeared from a couple of the models as well.
Thoughts or comments?
Special Color Choices Shrinking - Shark Blue no longer available?

Maybe Porsche wants to create a longer queue of customers for the incoming 992.2
They love to toy with our emotions

Both Shark and Carmine are still shown for 718 models.

They do seem to change periodically indeed.
I subscribe to a specialist Porsche magazine called 000. Now and then they sponsor a show called "Rare Shades" in various locations around North America. Here are a couple of shots from one I attended in Toronto:
The GT2RS at the top was a special wishes car and the paint was about $100k from the factory

I'm not a green car guy myself, that said, it looks great and fits the attitude of a RS to a t. If I saw it, I'm not even sure I would have guessed PTS, much less a special wish color.
How many special wish cars get built in a year? 2, 3, 10?
The interior wasn't bad either:).......emd710 wrote: Sat May 18, 2024 8:39 amHoly moly.RDMcG wrote: Sat May 18, 2024 5:07 am The GT2RS at the top was a special wishes car and the paint was about $100k from the factory
