Lately, passenger headlight appears low... or driver side is high.. not yet sure. [EDIT: the housings themselves appear equal but the light beams are off] But, I do notice passenger side housing is a bit loose
Not like it moves around while driving... but you can budge it a mm or two while the other side is unmovable.
Seems the passenger side has some flexibility? Is this common as it's the motor linkage end?
Anyway, I have to pull up to a wall and try to measure the beams. Anyone ever have to adjust a light? All these years and no movement.. just odd it appears out of nowhere

Headlights motor was loose... two little 10mm bolts hold that thing? Odd for such a key piece in a system like this
Even more strange: all these years wrenching in this engine compartment and never once needed to go near that motor lol

Glad it was easy
As for adjusting, I may be adjusting impaired, but every time I try adjusting headlights against a flat wall , I never like how the lights look on the road. I end up adjusting, driving, adjusting, driving, until the seem just right.
My guess is the vibration and torque from the motor loosened up those bolts, although I have to say I've never seen them work lose on their own. Maybe a drop of blue loctite is in order....
