Am I the first guy or the last guy to discover plastic razor blades? I got this package after seeing them on a youtube video and they are incredibly useful when scraping gaskets, stickers, crud, etc. on surfaces you don't want to damage! And this whole package was like $10 on amazon.

I've always wanted to buy some of those. I'd be surprised if they lasted very long if doing a gasket surface on metal, but they look awesome for doing any scraping near paint or plastic.

These are great for scraping delicate surfaces, and can be used on painted surfaces if one is careful. They work quite well as an adhesive remover. Not robust enough for scraping really old gasket material from metal surfaces, though; I still use regular steel razor blades for that.

I have tried using them to remove old gasket material from intake manifold. I find them pretty useless for this task.

My favourite tool for this is something commonly referred to as a "stone"

They are very handy
Chemicals like lacquer thinner and final wipe solvent also work great for removing gasket gunk

I just used one yesterday when reconing a speaker. Pretty handy and takes some stress out of certain operations.
Cheers

Another plus - you are legally allowed to run with these!
