Hi to all, Brand new here. I have a 2014 CS and having an issue with my front license plate holder screw holes. One side hold my plate securely. The other side at least 2-3 a week I have to tighten it. But it seems as if it’s just turning and grabbing like my right side screw. Thanks for any suggestions, worst case my next dealership visit. I’ll have them replace it entirely.

Welcome to Carpokes!

If it is turning an grabbing normally and feels tight, then the threads are probably worn enough to lose their grip with a little vibration, etc. -- but not worn enough to be completely stripped. Is the screw going into metal threads or a nylon nut? If metal, I'd just use red or blue loctite and see if that keeps it in place. If it is going into a white nylon nut, I've had pretty good luck using good o'l fashion Elmer's white glue. It doesn't 'glue' the screw in place, per se, but fills the gaps left behind as the threads wear out and will often keep a screw from backing out. Alternatively, you can use a slightly bigger screw in the nylon to get a tighter grip. Hope that helps!
