Found something interesting while researching ways to cover up the warning labels on the sin visors (chemically, cheap black sticker from Ebay, or leather stitched ones from Suncoast)... These are matte carbon sun visors.

Thoughts? Hope I am not committing some Porsche blasphemy here :)

Are they covered OEM sun visors? IMO, I’d avoid anything aftermarket.

As an aside, very happy with the cheap Ebay stickers I got - excellent match, sticking well - superb. Will see how long-lasting they are. :-)

As I've mentioned on earlier threads about this last year, I've been a satisfied Sun Visor Solutions customer since 2007. They are a very small business (mom and pop type I think) but have been around for many years. I've bought many different colors and fabrics for a lot of cars and have always been pleased.

They now have a suede fabric color chart that I ordered a few weeks ago to go along with their regular fabric swatch pages. Plenty of different pre-cut sizes too.

I just took this pic and it's not the best but you get the idea. Lots of shades of blacks and other colors. I recommend getting a swatch page first which makes it a snap to match colors.

PS: The sample pages I took a picture of are the actual pieces of fabrics, so if you get a swatch page from them, matching is no longer a guessing game based on possibly inaccurate photos.

I think I might have to try these out. Honestly I was skeptical at first just sticking a giant vinyl sticker on them, but I hear nothing but top notch reviews about them.

Here's a photo 'in situ'. A bit dark, but I think you can see just how well they cover and blend in.

Most thankfully the safety stickers just don’t seem to bother me, if they did I would try the above solution.

Like many things, most get used to them over time and they tend to slip into the subconscious. In my case however, for some reason, the subconscious always slips back into the here and now when I walk up to a vehicle from the front and notice the hideous, yellow, worthless, incredibly unnecessary stickers visible through the windshield if the visors are up, most especially if it's my car.

And then when they are down from inside the cabin and I see them - nooooooooooo! The world in front of my eyes swirls into hallucinations as in the Hitchcock/Jimmy Stewart film 'Vertigo' and the dolly-zoom disorientations that film introduced. (Okay, a bit of hyperbole here - sorry!!)

Like bedding and other stickers, they are only mandated when new at the time of the original sale and can be removed/hidden by consumers. Well, at least until they change the law and the Label Police knock (hopefully they knock) on your door demanding a full-house search of home and vehicles, verifying all required warning labels...
