Why does my passenger rear wheel have brake dust baked on when other wheels clean up just fine? Any advice for fixing this?

Are you getting more dust on that side in general, or is the same amount of dust and just sticking more to that one wheel?

Does the car pull to that side? If you let go on the steering wheel and hit the brakes hard at say 15mph, does the car pull off to one side? Run you fingernail over the rotors to compare them. Is the dirty side grooved and/or more worn? Or are the pads more worn on that side? If the brakes all check out and seem fine, I'd chalk it up to some difference in the wheel surface -- repaired paint, wax or treatment on one but not the other, etc.

As for cleaning, if you are worried about chemical cleaners, try the Harbor Freight/Wagner steam cleaner nothing but water and steam but it really does work. I used mine all the time on things like this (until I broke it). Also look for Armorall Dust Repellant for the wheel. It's a magic coating/treatment for wheels that prevents the dust from sticking -- really works great on most wheels.

Should have mentioned that some detailers use a clay bar to get that embedded dust stain off the wheels. Worth a try -- just don't use that same bar on the body paint. :)
