I believe the 2.0 engine in the 924 was used in a couple of Audi vehicles. It may be far less expensive to purchase a used Audi engine, and swap over anything Porsche specific from this engine. I would recommend discussing this on 924board.org, which has very knowledgeable 924 owners. Someone there will know the specific differences between the Audi and Porsche configurations.

Hey ! Thanks for your reply !
Well, it's a brand new cylinder head, and I'm working on a full restoration.
After I though about it, I remembered that the camshaft is a little bit damaged (nothing dramatic, but it need to be ruled by a good oil and oilpump), so it can only work on my old cylinder head.
By changing my cylinder head for a new one, I'm going to put a new Camshaft too.
Seems for me as a good news hahaha

Hey all !
To pass the time, waiting for money to finish the engine, I work on the harness.
As I'm going to fully redone it, I have to make a diagram of it, as I don't find any for the 1977.
I share my firsts plans with you, if it can help anybody.
I tried to make them in a position seeming the reel position on the car. May it help beginner to understand and follow it easily.
I use generic draw for the connector, so please don't take care of that. It may have some mistake as my harness is in terrible state, and some color have totally change with the time ! What a baffling problem ! So feel free to correct me and i'll update the diagrams !
Careful ! Wire colors are in french !!! Here is the trad :
B = Bleu = Blue
BC = Blanc = White
R = Rouge = Red
N = Noir = Black
V = Vert = Green
G = Gris = Grey
M = Marron = Brown
J = Jaune = Yellow

I've search in the PET, look for it on websites to buy it, i really dont know what it is, it's on the water temperature sensor support but not in contact with the water. If you know what it is, I would be grateful ! :clap:

I can share an Excel document with all the colors, directions and the AWG. I haven't finish it yet, and I'll do it for the entire harness.

Hope it'll help !

Have a great day all !
