I love my heated steering wheel and heated seats, but need a solution to my cold shift knob. Any advice?

Adding a heating element to the shift knob is going to be way more work (need a circuit, wiring, fuses and whatnot) so...

Gloves?

Changing the knob to a material that has less conductivity or more insulated (wood maybe) could also help.

A soft fabric material 'baggy' or condom over the knob would probably change conductive feel as well.

Sorry, no specifics to help but happy to consider the physics of the problem!
