Hoping you guys can see this. I wanted to do the Techart Spoilers on my Cayman S. Last year just before Thanksgiving (USA) I had the talented staff at D&V Autobody NoVA do the conversion for me. I am excited to share the results. Sorry I didn't do it sooner.

Just before that I put on the Polished Carrera S wheels and before that? I added the Sharkwerks tune as well.

Anyway, wanted to share my baby with you all. Be safe out there.

Your car still looks fabulous plus the skidpad pic is super cool!

Great pic, skid pad looks fun. Would you say the skid pad experience helped you with car control as a driver? Hope to get that experience one day.

About your Techart equipment. It appears at a glance you have the front chin spoiler, the rear deck lid spoiler and the rear wing. Can you confirm? Would love to see more pictures as well as hear how you like them, fit and finish etc.

J-Dub to answer your question. The simple answer is YES. The skidpad definitely helped me. It is really hard (at first) to get a mid engine car to drift. But once you learn how you start to understand the limits what the car is doing etc..

These pics are Oversteer drifting and I just recently (like LAST WEEKEND) started to get Understeer drifting..(front wheels full lock, and using the throttle to get around the circle).

One final thought...when I am on the skidpad I have to full disengage PSM (hold the button down until the right dash pod says OFF)...its easier...But when the car lets go? It lets go "RIGHT NOW" I can sense that now.

What I had done was the following:
Techart Rear Spoiler (had the factory spoiler deactivated)
OEM GT4 Sidescoops (had the GT4 filled in)
Front Spoiler too (if you look the center section in front is black).

How does it drive? If felt "heavier" but really it is a little more downforce (so yeah I guess that would make it feel heavier while driving). I did the Techart Spoilers at the same time. They were designed that way and I didn't want to upset the balance of the car. My installer (D&V Autobody in Sterling VA) stated the Techart stuff was OEM quality so they were easy to prep paint and install. The rear spoiler has 2 settings...street and race (race has a 3 degrees more tilt for downforce). My spoiler is set for street. It's not a dedicated race car. Too fun for that.

Yes that does help. On the front lip spoiler, I get that the lip sticks forward more. Does it also sit lower? Are you banging it on every driveway?

No sir, I do not hit every (or any) driveway. Now if I put in Sport Mode (lowers the car about 25mm) then possibly. But I have had no issues with hitting driveways (my biggest concern because my driveway is quasi steep, I come in at an angle and go up). Now for your car. I think Techart makes a slightly different front spoiler but I could be wrong.

Spoiler lower? A little but not too significant. I will measure the ground to lip and report back for you.
