New to all this and have signed up for a few DE's with my 2014 991S this spring. Looking for some SA2020 helmet recommendations. Full face vs open face? Brands? Good place to get one? Thanks in advance.

First of all, welcome to Carpokes! We have a Racing sub-forum where you can find many different posts regarding DE's, AX's, etc. so give them a visit if you can.
Regarding helmets, my answer will always be full face.
Brands? Well, I wouldn't compromise too much considering it's your head that's being protected. You don't have to spend $5,000 or $8,000 or more on a helmet but don't go too cheap either. There are helmets in the $700 to $1000 range that are pretty good. Go to a good competition supplier such as Discovery Parts, CMS, Apex Performance where you can find vast selections and can also read and make a learned decision regarding a helmet.
Here's one thread where the discussion dipped into helmet choice that might give you some ideas. (There are several posts in the vicinity of this link discussing helmets.)
Here's a YouTube video from Discovery on how to buy a helmet. (I've not watched it but Discovery is a good retailer with an outstanding reputation so I imagine the video is good.)
