In my quest to get the cruise control working on one of my cars and to add cruise to the other car, I have 3 cruise control modules that I was not able to get working (replaced caps, resoldered all connections). Are these any good for anything or should I just toss them? Anyone need any parts from any of them?

I rarely throw out old parts. You just never know when it might come in handy as a reference or to scavenge parts, etc. Of course, finding those old parts when you need them is another matter altogether. I wouldn't toss them

Did you ever get the cruise control working on the car and confirmed these were the issue or did you just assume they were the issue. I am looking to do a similar process to what you did to yours to a couple of mine (Full reflow and recap) and it's unfortunate it didn't appear to work for you. It could be down to some faulty transistor on the board which would be painful to try and track down.

Yes, I got the cruise working in my car that originally came with cruise, and I also added cruise to my car that didn't come with cruise. These boxes have been tested to be non-working. Good luck on yours. That procedure did work for me on the two that are currently in the cars.
