If you want to embed a link within text
like this , here is the format for doing that:
Code: Select all
like this
If easier, you can just copy and paste that code, and then edit the link and text to suit your needs.

That's exactly how I've done it on Carpokes in the past since the tool bar link doesn't work for text embeds.
I've always wondered why the link didn't work since it shows the proper format when hovering over the icon but doesn't allow a copy/paste of same. I created and saved the code same as you have done but have been meaning to ask you about what it was that I might have been overlooking. It's a question that's been at the back of my mind for many months but I just let it slide since it didn't seem too urgent. Is it that way by design or a tool flaw?

Great tip Tom!
When posting pictures, do I need to use an external host like imgur or can I use carpokes to host the picture as well?

No external host needed Jeremy. In my mind that's a huge plus of the platform Tom set up for Carpokes. Using a 3rd party image hosting is a giant time killer and royal pain in the patootah. (Just made up my version of a slang reference word here - it fits!

)
Posting pics using Carpokes is a breeze.

Awesome, just what I was looking for! I guess I don't typically hit the "Full Editor & Preview button" either.

Both those buttons are invaluable, for me anyway!
