I've been running a set of LED "bulbs" that replace the bi-xenon bulbs in my 718 PDLS lights. In this video I cover some considerations about making the switch, compare light output, and of course show you how to install the new bulbs through the wheel liner area.
LED upgrade for PDLS lights

Very good video, jet. But, I have to say...what was Porsche thinking to make changing bulbs such a royal PItA??? Last week I launched on a road trip in my 997 at 3AM, and about 1 hour in I lost one H7 low beam bulb. I carry spares so pulled over out in the middle of nowhere Colorado, and in about 10 minutes was back on the road with a new bulb on the driver side. Glad I did too because we had fog that morning and a lot of darkness with critters running all around. I needed that light! Swapped in a new bulb on the passenger side the next day when I reached my destination. Give me old-school any day!

Interesting that it doesn't work on the Base. The difference between the 718 Base and PDLS lights is that the Base uses a 25W bulb/ballast Bi-Xenon and the PDLS uses a 35W bulb/ballast Bi-Xenon. Does this LED kit not work with the Base because it relies on having that 35W ballast? Or are there other LEDs you can buy for the Base setup?

Regarding base lights…
I very well could be wrong. I thought they just had Halogen bulbs? Even if they did there’s a different LED bulb available to replace halogens. If it’s also HID and same style bulb then it will work.

My 2021 718 GTS has the premium package that includes option 602 LED Headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS+)
@JetFuelOnly is this the same headlights you have? I am not sure they turn side to side when I turn the steering wheel.

@J-Dub no mine are the middle headlights and they are HID Bi-Xenon. Pretty sure yours turn as they are even more expensive than mine!

Ohh, that means some testing is required! Thanks @JetFuelOnly
Update:
I just tested and they do in fact turn, went to a dark road and did some swerving. I also did some reading that the car must be going above 5mph for the turning to start. Apparently I don't swerve enough in the evening
