Crazy Eddie Bolster Covers -- who likes 'em?

After a short conversation with Ed about his EdGuard bolster covers for the lightweight bucket seats, I thought I'd start a thread seeking customer feedback on the covers. If you have a set, please speak up -- it helps a lot for happy customers to post their review, and he's fairly obsessed with making them perfect, so all feedback is good feedback.

I've posted accolades more than once. Might as well do it again.

They are FANTASTIC! Don't leave home without 'em. (That is unless you want to eventually replace your OEM bolsters. )

Interesting product, as getting in and out of heavily bolstered seats does cause wear. Dang, another item to add to my must have list when the Chalk Cayman Concrete Crusader gets here late this month or early next!

They only fit light weight bucket seats, but are must for those seats if that's what you are getting...

Yes, got the lightweight " Full Buckets " as those and Velcro might keep my old butt glued down at 1.5 gs!

Going to be talking to Crazy Eddie in the near future or I am going to soon be " Bruised Butt Billy " crawling over those GT4 style buckets. Once in they are quite comfortable and they will be better than velcro to keep my butt stuck to the seat in high G corners, but crawling over the outside bolster is going to wear the leather along with the skin off my thigh. Apparently Crazy Eddie ain't so crazy after all , pretty sure my relatives will find a set on my Christmas list!!

They are fantastic. Don’t change a thing. Easy to install and look like OEM. I often forget I have them installed.

Don't wait for Christmas! Ed and I went to Werks together and looked at a lot of bucket seats. Those bolsters age fast unless you are super good at levitating over them. We saw a 993 GT3RS in particular where the drivers bolster looked like a 10 year old car.

The bolster covers are fantastic Bill - they will save your seats and are, in my opinion, an absolute necessity. No matter how small someone is or how well one can do the "sideways butt first" entrance you will eventually start seeing wear without the covers. Plus, as Ed will tell you, when in a tighter parking situation, the dynamic of getting in and out is changed considerably, so much so that preventing the unwanted wear is next to impossible. Don't leave home without 'em!

I can’t wait to install them and relieve the mental stress of climbing in and out of that car. It is so great that entrepreneurs like you take the stab at solving these problems. When I first bought the car, I found a guy who took it upon himself to develop a solution for the center lock wheels…. A gear reducer to make wheel removal much easier.
