I love my heated steering wheel and heated seats, but need a solution to my cold shift knob. Any advice?

Unfortunately, metal gets hot in warm weather and cold in cold weather. Wood or leather wrapped knobs will solve the problem. For MT cars, there are a lot of options. Thanks for posting and being a Carpokes member.

I certainly don't know of any good heated shift knob solutions. I live in Phoenix and the high has hit more than 110 for some 10+ days in a row now. I did a quick google search and this does seem to be of interest to people but I did not see any clear solution. There was a DIY heater being worked on but it went around the base of the shifter stalk/knob interface, not exactly a heated knob.
I have yet to try my heated seats or steering wheel. Where do you live that is so cold?

I went with a "Full Metal" knob. I live in Florida. Usually the heat doesn't bother. Every now and then I notice it when it's cold. I just shift more to get some body heat into it.
