Anyone using electric AC in their early car?
My dream is to put AC in my 912. I would drive my car far more if I didn’t have to sit sweating in traffic.
It’s really hot in the Los Angeles desert much of the year.
Electric Air Conditioning ?

I know a guy who builds air-cooled 911 hot rods, and he uses the electric A/C in most of them. Apparently works well. But even late model 911s require an electrical upgrade, the A/C draws a LOT of power. I can't imagine a stock 912 charging system being able to keep up.

Classic Retrofit does a system specifically for the air cooled 911's. Not cheap and it pretty much requires an upgraded alternator. If I ever go back to A/C I expect this is what I will do.
