2017 Porsche GT3 Cup Car 991.2 is in excellent condition. Never crashed and professionally maintained! This Factory Built Porsche racecar is NOT a conversion. It came purpose built from the Porsche factory as a race car. It is exhilarating to drive and YES - it’s quite addictive.
It’s been meticulously maintained and is ready to go racing. Check the air pressure, Strap in and hit the track! This car is currently professionally wrapped with a patriotic theme. Everything is up to date. Until this year, a 59mm restrictor plate was placed in front of the 82mm throttle body to meet the sanctioning body class HP restrictions. In other words, the engine was never ran hard. The gearbox was rebuilt and has 11 hours on it. The Porsche recommended upgrades were implemented. The total hours on this Cup Car is ~114 total hours. asking $162,000
Lots of extras

Nice Cup car Dave! I saw it somewhere else recently, maybe Hagerty? Anyway, a car like that is always tempting but I can't go down that route again.
Not sure where you are located but I am curious as to what shop has done the work and maintained the car.
PS - I'll delete the duplicate post here that was missing the pictures.

Hey Tim -
I'm located in St. Paul, MN
The shop is CWR (Charles Wicht Racing) in Sebring, FL where I purchased the car. The shop is blocks away from Sebring.
I ran it at a DE event here in MN. It was fast! slightly faster than my 991.1 cup car. When I was doing the standard maintenance, I discovered the 59mm restrictor. Well.....I had to remove it. The following weekend I ran it again - this time without the restrictor. OMG! Now it is scary fast. A bit more than my fear-factor and self preservation can handle. So I need to sell it before I get in trouble. This car was developed for someone younger than myself. LOL

Thanks Dave - good responses in all respects! I've run at Sebring but it's been many years ago since I was last there. I don't know the shop (CWR) off hand but if they are at Sebring, they are are probably very good. (I am most familiar with Goldcrest Motorsports in suburban Atlanta.)
Yours appears to be a fine example and I would think it will generate a lot of serious interest. It did with me! Unfortunately, I can also relate to the self-preservation aspect and, as I'm probably well past you in the age thing, I have to use a bit of common sense in these matters. I can still get carried away...
I'll definitely mention your car to a few people I know who might have a line on a potential prospect or two.
Good luck with the sale!

A couple of other thoughts regarding a few additional things might help if I'm asked, such as included data collection system (if any), spare parts, interior/driver set up (pics?), what race series run and/or track days only. Do you know if CWR has been part of the car since new? (Would make obtaining svc/maint records a breeze.)

Additional info:
Porsche never deviated from its continuous improvement pledge with each generation of Cup Cars. The 991.2 Cup Car exceeded racers expectations and is far superior from the earlier 991.1 Cup. For instance, the 991.1 had a 3.6L Mezger Engine and this 991.2 boasts a bullet-proof 24 valve Direct Fuel Injection 4.0L aluminum flat-six with titanium rods that roars its dominance out its Super cup exhaust. It is pushing nearly 500HP. The 991.2 Cup Car has better Aerodynamics and is a touch wider for stability. Since this Cup Car only weighs 2,650 lbs, makes it blindingly quick, incredibly competitive and very reliable car. Has a triple disc metal race clutch which is coupled to a six-speed sequential dog-type gearbox with a pneumatic paddle shift system and a limited-slip differential. The 380mm front & rear rotors create an impressive amount of stopping power and properly adjusted brake bias, can out brake nearly every car into the corners. Porsche spared no expense when they engineered this beast!!
