Introduction and saying hi.

First off, I’m very glad to have been invited to an “old school” forum.
I’m sure a lot of you know who I am and the craziness I’ve done with these cars in the past. Well, I’m still doing crazy stuff, but a little different nowadays. I’m sure some of y’all will be happy to hear I’m not really drag racing this “non drag racing car” much anymore.
Ended up selling my 3L hybrid stroker awhile ago. It was still running great and supplying me with a lot of fun. (Was making around 600 hp based on trap speeds) However, after building a bunch of these things, I’ve decided that I am the type of person that is going to end up pushing the block beyond it’s real limitations, and it would be better to sell it before I break it. I have been building Mitsubishi engines to make around 8-900 hp pretty regularly anymore, so I decided to go that route in the 944. I think having the extra 3000rpm power band will make for a ton of fun.
My goals for it in the future are to try out the Texas mile, the Colorado airstrip stuff and some other top speed events.
I still have a little ways to go, but hopefully I can get motivated somehow to finish this thing up this year.
I look forward to reading about others builds and where they are now.
