Ambient lighting. 2015 Cayman

So I can adjust the orientation lighting in my Cayman and I have a menu that allows ambient lighting adjustment but no matter the % I see no changes or lighting Or nothing I can tell. Is that an optional feature and if not where do I look for this ambient lighting ?
