Inherited this car taken apart and can’t find any good pics anywhere.
What is the correct path for the battery to starter cable in terms of down from top of firewall? Does it go right next to the clutch slave line? Does it have any clamps that attach to the car?
Along the same lines, how about for starter to alternator? Seems like the best path would be alongside the engine harness but that is close to turbo and heat.
Thanks as always.

Attached is a pdf of instructions for installing the old ICESHARK cables (which I believe to be public domain), that gives a pretty detailed explanation. If this doesn't answer your question, let me know and I'll take some pictures of my car. There is a cushion clamp on the firewall holding the starter motor cable in place, but its missing more often than not....

I have the Ice Shark Harness in my 944 turbo with the broken timing belt. It was a very good “Mod”. Dr. Smith mentioned running it next to the engine harness but next to the turbo. There should be heat shields and a couple clips that separate the harness from the heat of the turbo. Is that missing? Do you need pictures? I have the intake off on my 951 to do maintenance and can take some pictures.

I searched my pictures and here is one that shows the 3 items. The left arrow points to the engine harness, the center to the alternator harness and the right to the shield between the turbo and harnesses.

Both great helps. I thought that it might run alongside the engine harness but just wanted to verify.
Thank you all again!
Thank you all again!
There are two cable clamps. One attaches to bell housing, about mid-body of the housing. The second attaches (more superior). I think to the BH, but could be the block. Hopefully re-assembling tomorrow. Will follow-up if not to the BH.
