It's not really what the thread title makes it sound like. I've never owned more than 2 at the same time...
I've technically been a member here since last fall, but never posted yet.
I've had my 718 Cayman 2 litre for about a year now. I'm well pleased with it so far. It's a 2018 718 Cayman, first delivered in May 2019 so it is still has another month of original warranty remaining. Bought directly from the original owner, not a dealer. 22,000 miles on it when I bought it (27,000 now), full service history. Owner sold it to me because his new Shark Blue Cayman T was due to be delivered shortly.
Rhodium Silver, black leather. PDK, 19" Boxster S wheels, Premium Pkg Plus, rear spoiler and door handles in gloss black. Spray-on PPF (
ClarityCoat) on the entire front clip, rockers and rear fenders up to the seams. Four fresh Conti Extreme Contact Sport, now a bit more worn.
As I noted, this is my fifth Porsche ('84 911, '84 944, '73 914 2.0, '72 911T), and as good as they all have been, this is by far the best all around sports car. I really can't see me selling it anytime soon. Or maybe even not so soon.

Even though you've been a member for awhile, this is your first post so, Welcome to Carpokes!!!
You've had several really nice Porsche's so it's heartening to hear you say that you like the 718 the best. I love everything about mine - they are great sports cars using anyone's definition.
Thanks for the marvelous pic of your sweet 718 in a setting with a background that few of us will see - Mt Hood I presume? It's an awesome setting even if it's not Mt Hood! What a view.
I've always really liked Rhodium Silver - it's an elegant shade of silver that has unique qualities. Your photo shows it off well.

Yes, that is Mt. Hood, from the east side.
I will admit that I did not own either the 944 or 914 all that long. They were restoration projects. My retirement hobby is restoring cars. My family refers to me as "a serial car rescuer". I buy derelicts (not always Porsches), fix or restore them, sell them, and do it again. The '84 911 was not a project, it was my normal fun car for over 7 years. The '72 911T was a restoration project, but I kept it for a couple years after it was done as a replacement for the other 911.
The 718 is the best all around sports car I've ever owned. Fast enough for public roads, incredible handling and grip, great brakes, remarkable open road comfort. I can't see needing anything new for a long time.
I'll post a few pics of some of my projects just so people can get to know a bit about me.

@Arne2
That's an impressive retirement hobby Arne, one with outstanding results, at least based on the before and after photos you posted. They look great! Each must have taken a lot of work and a lot of time.
A serial car rescuer indeed, but everyone is the better for it once you're done - the cars, their new owners and your satisfaction of having completed the work. Must be difficult to let them go.

@blueline - I can't keep them all. Don't have the storage space, and if I don't sell them after they are done I couldn't afford to do the next one...
