Carpokes Porsche Forum

For a number of years I've been compiling a simple, text-only, junk-free set of spreadsheets (Google Sheets) that list Track Days and HPDE-type events.

The areas covered are the South and Southeast plus many on the Mid-Atlantic coast and in the Mid-West.

There are around 200 events on this year's sheets, so no excuses for not finding a place to exercise and air out your car! If you are in or even close to our part of the country, there are approx 20 different organizers putting on track events at over 32 fantastic tracks!

I compile three versions of the same data - each sorted differently: by Date, by Track, and by Event Organizer. The lists facilitate finding plenty of adrenaline producing and addictive track excursions to try out.

The links below are always active, so any changes or updates I might make will be reflected as long as you keep the links. The sheets are super easy to print as pdf's too. (I've also attached static pdf versions in case someone doesn't want to fool with Google Sheets.)

Share these with anyone you care to - nothing proprietary (just a bit of a pita to compile all the data). I do this because I want to see more people getting on track.

Yep, I'm guilty as charged of promoting the sport and encouraging drivers to have fun in a much safer environment than dealing with excessive horrid and crazed drivers crowding U.S. public roads and highways.

Tracks are the backbone of Porsche's DNA, so maybe give a day on the track a whirl - I think you'll have a blast!

Can't really find a place to put a suggestion, but you might want to add another Sub Forum or two, with one being listed for Autocrossing , since there are a large group of folks who careen through cones with Porsches! Lastly another section for folks to post their times at various tracks would be entertaining and like the track videos it would also give folks an idea how they are doing at a specific venue.

Those sound great! No suggestions necessary from me or Tom - just start whatever racing or track topic crosses your mind within the 'Racing' sub-forum. A new topic on AX or track lap times would be excellent additions. Click "New Topic" when in the 'Racing' sub, add your subject line, compose and post away.

You see my name on so many of the 'Racing' topics because Tom created our race focused sub forum when asked and I am trying to get it going/keep it going by populating it, keeping it current, and stimulating whatever interest I can in all track, driving, racing or whatever other associated activities there might be. It's everyone's forum!

Check out the "sticky" post that heads up the Racing sub-forum to better understand what it is designed for here that says in part "The goal, as with everything Carpokes, is to have a friendly and open place to talk about anything and everything regarding on and off track driving and racing activities, including (but not limited to) car control clinics and off-track safety, basic non-high performance driver’s ed, HPDE’s and track days, on-track safety, off-road events, AX, amateur racing - Club and otherwise, track venue feedback, the state of the sport and where it’s headed, and, of course, Pro racing of every kind at any level you care to discuss!"
