Continuing my retrospective look into my journey towards Porsche ownership.

A little perspective (February 25, 2022 - 12 months ago)

"There's something delightfully vintage about this car. It expertly blends just the right amount of modern tech without diluting the driving experience. I love driving it."

Well, that's exactly our one year anniversary from when we first received our allocations from our first dealership.
Update from Christina The Salesperson, and unfortunately not the best news. No news on allocations as they are just trickling in in onesies and twosies.

Things are backed up and delayed at Porsche because of a perfect storm of things and not the least of which is the fire on the ship, COVID supply chain issues, and now the looming spectre of war in Ukraine. Anyway we will keep the faith and just keep on waiting.

Our 'problem' pales in comparison to the situation in Ukraine which is just too horrible to imagine. Make my worries just a little more insignificant.

From a car perspective, it’s a bummer, and I think I will cool it on checking the forums daily and reading as much Porsche news as I can. Just to give myself a break from coping/hoping.
