I recently rejoined the Porsche ranks with a 2012 Cayman R after many years away. I have owned several Porsche cars during this tenure on Earth; 1959 356A coupe, 1967 912, 1971 911 Targa, 1973 911 coupe, 1975 914, and a 1981 924 Turbo. I used to buy run down or broken cars and fix/restore them.

It appears that you have much to add for the many here who are repairing/upgrading/restoring/customizing their own Porsche's, new and old. It's a great place to share and exchange ideas so post away.
