Hello!
I am Ed Ponczak and have been around Porsche's (914) since about 1976. My first one was a 1971 1.7 that ran just great. It was my daily driver Unfortunately, the road salt here in PA ate it away. Since then, I have owned (6) 914's. Currently have (2), a '73 and a '74.
Along with the 914's there are (2) (Mazda Miata's '94 & '97), a '71 MGB, and a 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder. The cars are not perfect, but better than average and weekend and nice day drivers.
I try to do most of my own work so forums like these come in pretty handy.
I look forward to talking with many of you as time goes by. Thanks for having me.
Ed

Good to have you here on Carpokes Ed! I second Larry's words - your knowledge, experiences and input will be most welcomed here. There are some amazingly talented people doing the kinds of things many of us (me!) cannot do. I learn by just reading what they have to say and looking at their often detailed pics. Thanks for joining and posting.

Thanks guys. Attached a couple of photos of the 914's. The green '74 I have owned for about 10 years. The yellow one I've had for about 2 years and it has only 12,000 legitimate miles. It was stored here in Pgh for 15-20 years. I am the second owner. While in storage, the garage ceiling collapsed on the car. They had the car repainted and not very well. Its good from 20' away, but up close, not so much.

Pics posted just fine. Sweet cars - glad that they have a home where they will continue to be appreciated. Many memories of seeing them around in my much younger years.
