962 with a GT3 Heart
To put the 997 GT3 motor in the right place I built a custom adaptor plate with a new Bellhousing and extension. Dont ask how many hours machining as it was months in the making. But is a talking point to anyone that sees the car..

I'm not qualified enough to add anything of relevance but what I see is impressive. I gather this is the 2nd one like this you've built, correct? What does the future hold for the two cars? How and where will they be used? I am curious!

The first car is with the owner now, but will be road registered as was always intended. The ground clearance is 90mm which is higher than the original 60mm but you don't notice it so much. Also has 40mm of droop so it can be lifted to about 130mm with the aid of a Hydraulic spring platform.
The second car you see has a very original stile Ally Tub and as such is intended to be the same pickup points so might end up just a track car...... but got an other build going right now so will be 2024 before I commit to building that one, it does run a 996 Turbo box but its a V8 Prototype and not really a Porsche of any sort.... Or I might just sell it for the right price and build another later on...
