I have no personal experience but the website and bio look great and I believe the company is 100% real - and very good at what they do. Some nice restorations and sold vehicles shown on their website too. I think you'd be fine. A phone call to the owner Ron Thomas would verify that I imagine. The website's "About" page has good background info.
Using search, I also found these links about Ron Thomas including one from Hagerty that might be helpful regarding experience and what you might reasonably expect:
I have...it was for some trim bits when I was repainting my car about a year+ ago.
The original AASE was in SoCal but they sold the parts business and are now located in Ohio. If you google the name, you can watch a short video of the move from SoCal to Ohio. There is still an AASE shop in Fullerton but they are more of a service/prep shop.
One of the parts I ordered was on hold as in back order but the guy I talked to was pretty straight with me and just wanted to help me find what I was after. On another item, he had OEM part (replacement lug nuts), but they were twice the price of their in house supply so they likely lost a few bucks when I went with the in house part.

I just rebuilt slave cylinder with kit from Pelican. Looks like the exact same kit. essentially same price.
