Have you ever taken anything apart and wished you had taken better notes or photos? I have.

This post is part of a continuing series of posts that detail the internal construction of various things. This is not intended to be step-by-step instructions for repair/removal/disassembly/etc. Rather, I hope this post (and future posts) can serve as a reference for people who would like visual clues in making their own repairs.

Turbo/S2 Turn Signals (and Side Markers)
The electrical pigtails for the turn signals show an aftermarket waterproof wire connector at the car-side of the wires. Don't let it throw you off if the wiring for your turn signals is terminated differently - it probably still has the factory connector.

Bumper and Assembled Lights
Removing the bumper cover from the car is way easier than doing this on the car. In fact, I don't think it's possible to remove/install the turn signals with the bumper cover installed. The back side of the fasteners is not accessible by mere mortals with normal tools, or perhaps by anyone with any tools.

Side marker lights do need to come out first, though, in order to access the fasteners that hold the bumper cover to the fender.
